~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Preparation Day: Preparation day is very important. This is the day to fill war castles and plan attacks. Before I dive in to preparing make sure that everyone in your clan has a decent war base. You can find plenty of good war bases on this site! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- War Castle - Before war, always remember to get those castles full. In order to do this I suggest having your best clashers(the guys with the highest level troops) donate. I usually send out a reminder which tells everyone to not donate and let the top dawgs do it. You're clan can donate random troops, or have a standard donation. The advantages of donating random troops is that the other clan has no idea what may be in the castle. Here is what my clan does . . . 10 Castle space - 2 Wizards and 2 Archers 15 Castle space - 3 Wizards and 3 Archers 20 Castle space - 4 Wizards and 4 Archers 25 Castle space - 5 Wizards and 5 Archers 30 Castle space - 6 Wizards and 6 Archers 35 Castle space - 7 Wizards and 7 Archers This is only a suggestion! You're clan can make up their own standard donation. Notice the pattern :P I prefer wizards and archers because they target both air and ground units and wizards do a ton of damage. This is great against mass dragon and balloonian attacks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Planning attacks - I suggest having a war strategy that your clan sticks too. Here are a few strategies that I like to use. For small clan wars(10v10 and 15v15) Everyone can attack a base that is 1 number above theirs, equal to theirs, or 1 number below their base. Medium sized clan wars(20v20, 25v25, and 35v35) Everyone can attack a base that is 2 numbers above theirs, equal to theirs, or 2 numbers below their base. Large wars(35v35 and up) Everyone can attack a base that is 3 numbers above theirs, equal to theirs, or 3 numbers below their base. Another strategy is to have the top dawg attack 1 and 2, the second to best 3 and 4, third best 5 and 6, and etc . . . The people on the bottom which don't have an assigned attack can either not attack at all or try to get 1 star on higher bases for good loot! These are just a few suggestions, you guys probably can come up with better strategies for you're clan. An important thing to remember is to make sure everyone knows who is gonna attack who, because often times a guy makes a specialized army for a certain base and if someone attacks that base, then his army is useless. Now that you're clan is prepared war day is next! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ War Day: I am not gonna spend very much time on war day because it is pretty self explanatory, but here are a few tips. A lot of clans like to get a huge lead at the beginning, because a lot of times it demoralizes the other clan. You're clan mates can help you out by giving advice on attack strategies. REMEMBER! Support plays a big role in wars. Having demoralized clan members can lead to lack of self confidence which leads to(often times) failure. Cheer you're clan mates on. If they do well, then great! Congratulate them! If they lose an attack, don't get too mad or criticize them. Be supportive. If they do need correction it doesn't hurt to get a little tough on them, but remember to use constructive criticism. Do not just flat out say, "You suck." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aftermath: The war is over! This is the time to watch replays, learn from your mistakes, and celebrate over victory! Don't take losses to hard. Try to improve your clan where they failed. Here is a war loot tip . . . A lot of players like to wait to collect their war loot. They do this because enemies can only take a small amount from it.
