1.Getting dark elixir Sure,but I can get it from a drill,right?Not so quickly!Yes,they produce it,but a max drill produces 100 per hour,and lvl 1 gets only 20/h.At th 7 you dont even have drills,so you gotta farm it. 2.Farming that rare dark elixir First,consider bringing lightning spells and dropping them on the storage or drill.You get 25% of whats in storage and 75% of whats in the drill.so,firstIs the storage empty?Then go for drill.Is storage full?Kill that storage!Remember,even then,you can only get max 2-3 000 dark elixir,so be aware.You cant get alot of it in one go,and youll probably not even get half of the storage or drill if the spell is not well upgraded. Troops?I recommend first seeing the surroundings.Mortar?Dragon,minion and healer.Air defense/wizzard tower?Aim for either first destroying that with a lvl 2-3+ gig and healer(make sure gig is taking most damage) or just using wb,gig and old fashioned barch with a heal spell for emergencies. Well,when you search for attacks,try attack a trophy base.Theyll probably have the storage or drill outside or in the first 2 layers of the base.In that case,only drop a spell if something goes really wrong.Try a wb,gig if you hav splash defenses,a healer/heal spell and some barch. at a farming base the storage will be protected badly and,in rare cases,even the drill will be inside.If the defenses are weak,you can try to take it out with troops,but i recommend lightning spell lvl 2+ so you can deal more damage.Of course,like I said before,if storages are empty and drills are outside not protected just take them out;i think 20 lvl 2-3+ arcers will do it,even less.If they are slightly or decently protected try a healer with archers and if teres an air defense try first to wipe that out. Dont even think of a 50% when farming dark stuff.Youll waste troops and not even get the most out of an attack. Try to adapt all by the base you attack so dont be like:Caty omg i used minions near air defense and it didnt work!Ok? 3.Protect So you got 1000 dark stuff from an attack.Good job but it can get wasted after only 5 mins.How?From bad defense near the dark elixir.Heres how to protect.First ask yourself: 1.Am I active?Do I come everyday? Yes:put storage inside the base. Decently(1 out of 2 days)Include the most upgraded drill in the last layers of base. No(once a week or less)put drills inside and the storage in the second to last layer, 2.Am I saving up for something? Yes:Put storage and drill near th protected by many defenses(especially air defense and splah defense) No:Drills out;storage protected a bit more than the normal loot. 3.Am I a farmer? Yes:Get it protected just like your precious loot!YOu know it better than anyone else! Kinda(hybrid):th and storages up in the core No:Th is your priority,but try get it in the last layer,poorly defended atleast. Note that in the th 7-8,9 period the dark elixr is on top,so no matter what,try to defended best as you can. 4.Spending woo boy!! i got a ton of dark elixir!!Now what should i do?Well you see some main options: 1.Archer queen(40k) 2.Barb King(10k) 3.Dark barracks troops(4-300 elixir) Whats best?It really depends on you.DO you wanna attack like a pro?Be undefeatable? I wanna say that you can bring Archer Queen and Barb KIng in battle,plus they defend your base.They are worth it!King is cheaper,and will in most cases be purchased first.Queen is helpful,but note that: 1.She loves walls;she will attack them first :) 2.That hotty is stupid 3.But she is cool cuz she got a frekin X-bow!How cool is that? They have abilities too. The KIng Fist (the ability)summons tons of barbs depending on the hero lvl(higher lvl,more barbs)and lets him heal. The Queen Royal Cloak summons archers and defenses lose her as a target so she can heal. The ability unlocks at lvl 5. If they get injured in battle,they must sleep.The time till they heal depends on hp(so on lvl).A lvl 40 king takes alot to heal! You can send them to sleep when tapping their altars,but they wont protect your base anymore. 5.Making the most out of Heroes They have a decent range,and they do best in the place wher you want something to be protected.Th?Protect it by puting altars there.You got it. Do not put them too close together!If so,they will b,when defending,near each other,so another cloak of enemies could slip by. Many ppl have asked me:But if i surround altar with walls,Wont they get trapped and cant defend? No!Its a pretty good idea.If you surround cc with walls,the cc troops will not get stuck! who is best: Queen or King? 1.Queen has a bow,so she can shoot over walls 2.King is smart.Queen breaks walls,even if she has a building in between the walls she is standing in. 3.King is cheaper.Why?Comment below with your guess. 4.Queen is way cooler.
